‘Immerse’ new album by Timothy Wenzel in Peaceful Radio Show 1576

Timothy Wenzel’s career began in 2012 with the release of
Mountains Take Wing (which, to this day, has a 4.5 star rating at
Amazon!). Even on that initial album, his strong sense of melody
and composition was evident to both fans and reviewers alike.
Through the ensuing years, his talent for writing rich, evocative,
and engaging music has only grown in scope and maturity.
For Immerse, Wenzel drew inspiration from a variety of sources,
including his passion for Great Lakes photography, as well as his
fascination with Frank Lloyd Wright and Homer’s The Odyssey.
However, many songs come from within, as he explains. “I often
write in winter, when I can walk the countryside alone,
especially at night and then return to the warm studio. So being
alone is one theme: solitude, time to think and all those things a
card-carrying introvert needs for happiness and productivity.”
Joining Timothy (piano, keyboards, synthesizers) on Immerse are
Tom Carleno (acoustic guitar), David Cullen (electric guitar),
Graham Cullen (cello), Jill Haley (English horn), Jeff Haynes
(percussion), and Josie Quick (violin).
