The Journeying Sun is an immersive trio collaboration album
meticulously crafted by three talented artists. The album
elegantly interweaves Sherry Finzer’s emotive and delicate flute
performances with the rich, atmospheric textures generated by
City of Dawn using a plantwave device and a Neurofeedback
Muse EEG headset. Complementing this ensemble is
Karasvanna’s use of Tanpura,singing bowls, and chimes,
alongside lush vocals. Each artist bringstheir unique style and
influence, together creating a mesmerizing sonic landscape that
encapsulatesspiritual transcendence and immersive auditory
experiences.

City of Dawn is an ambient project of Damien Duque from McAllen, TX. He createsImmersive and atmospheric
melodic dreamy soundscapes. Aside from his mind-opening message about the effects of Ambient Music, his art
also advocatesfor people within the Autism Spectrum.
For Damien, his music is a way of dealing with occasional anxiety attacks, depression, and Insomnia and through it,
he shares his experience as a person with Asperger’s Syndrome (High Functioning Autism). Any City Of Dawn album
from Damien Duque will invite you into a meditational estate that isself-exploring, which journey he teaches us,
can lead toward healing. Healing from our often cluttered mind, which islike the noise thatsurrounds us,
disorganized and arbitrary, and helps us align, whence discover meaning and what he calls’Stillness”. Quietness,
Silence, and Tranquility.
His mission isto spread awareness and acceptance of autism and has a goal; that people under the Autism
Spectrum can do unique things and that Autism doesn’t define, each individual defines Autism and themselves.
Because it’s not a disability, but rather a different ability. His music is a testimony that Autism doesn’tstop him
from reaching hissuccess and also it brings a listening experience that istranscendent. He lovesto bring listeners
together to meditate and experience the sounds.
City of Dawn hasreleased five albums on Heart Dance including Solace and Moonwheel, both collaborations with
flutist Sherry Finzer, and the latest – Wider Than the Sky with Ross Christopher. All have received global airplay and
several tracks are in rotation on the SXM Spa channel.
Sherry Finzer believesthat music can heal. Listeners contact her daily to let her know how much her music helps
them in physical/mental healing, tinnitus,stressrelief, and overall well-being.
She is a Phoenix-based flutist, performer, and composer, and runs Heart Dance Records – a label consisting of
artists with a focus on healing music. Whether creating ethereal music for Spas, or more upbeat melodiesfor road
trips, her magical tones are created by “low flute” instruments, which include the alto, bass, and contrabassflutes.,
as well as Native and World flutes.
Sherry’s newestsolo flute release, “Renewal”, hasreceived global airplay and wasrecorded at The Tank in Rangely,
CO. Other 2021 releasesinclude singles with pianists Greg Maroney, Joseph Akins, Lynn Tredeau, and Cathy
Oakes, and an ambient release with Heart Dance Records artist City of Dawn.
She is also a member of the group Majestica and performsregularly with guitarist Darin Mahoney. You can hear
Sherry’s music in regular rotation on the SXM Spa Channel, Music Choice, global radio stations, and multiple US

Following her passionsfor music & storytelling, Mary Ella Hunt attended Belmont University, where she received
her degree in Songwriting in 2020. Lifelong experimentation with sound and the use of various holistic healing
modalitiesled her to attend the Globe Institute in 2021, where she completed her Sound Healing Certification.
Ella’ssound healing project moniker “Karasvana” exemplifiesthe essence of the healing soundsthat flow through
her, embodying her passion for igniting the intuitive creator in everyone. This belief hasinspired her work with
artists at Heart Dance Records and moved her to facilitate songwriting and sound healing workshops, work with
clients one-on-one, and serve her community in Nashville and beyond.
