“Wind, Water and Stone,” the latest Native American-style flute album from Randy “Windtalker” Motz, features a collection of musically diverse, soul-stirring, and genre-bridging compositions, inspired by America’s National Parks and the Native Americans who once called them home.

The titles of each of the ten songs on this album represent the thematic confluence of the National Parks and their associated tribes, and the ambience of each song paints a musical portrait of Native American history and culture.

“Windtalker” artistically creates musical landscapes depicting the unique, cinematic grandeur of each park while establishing an emotional connection to Native Americans with the hauntingly beautiful sound of Native American-style flute that is featured in each composition.

“Wind, Water and Stone,”by Randy “Windtalker” Motz, is a moving and meticulously crafted masterpiece. It is grounded by a layered cinematic score, composed by Randy, with his flute harmonizing with, soaring over, and weaving throughout each score. There is palpable longing and reverence heard through his flute and you can feel the sacredness in it. This CD is so powerful that I felt myself transported, with awe, to the wilds of nature. “Wind, Water and Stone” is captivating from the first note to the last and leaves the listener wanting more. Thank heavens for the replay button… Bravo Randy, Bravo!!!
