RELEASE May 3, 2024: Diane Arkenstone, a pioneering musician and label owner who has explored a wide range of genres in an over three-decade career, is celebrating the release today of a collection of some of her most memorable music from the past 25 years and more, The Essential Diane Arkenstone. From the striking beat-driven opening bars of the first track “Jewel In The Sun” to the hypnotic ambient textures of “Through The Veil,” the music is uniquely transportive yet comfortingly familiar with Diane’s trademark artistry. The songs are redolent with themes that Diane has been exploring for decades—nature, healing, wellness, spirituality and nurturing inner strength.
All of the music on the album was composed, arranged, performed and recorded by Diane Arkenstone and will be released digitally on Neo Pacifica Recordings and on CD via EverSound Record Company (available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and more).
Diane shares her thoughts on the album: “’I was thinking about the essential elements that have made my life better, and they have included healing, love and peace. I wish I could give the whole world everything needed for a beautiful life, and the best I can offer is to write music with those 3 essential energies that have helped me on my journey. Diane Arkenstone, a multi-faceted artist and a pioneer in the New Age music genre, has garnered worldwide acclaim with her extensive repertoire of recordings within the world, meditative, ambient, Celtic, Native American traditions and Americana, many of which are available on her own label, Neo Pacifica—a label that has released genre-spanning projects for decades. A singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Diane trained as an opera singer, and has enjoyed experimenting with a variety of genres throughout her career.
